Repairing broken glass
The good news is that it is really straight-forward to replace broken glass within a frame. We are very happy to deal with the potentially tricky task of removing any cracked glass so that the artwork underneath does not get damaged. Regular picture glass is not expensive to replace unless your artwork is particularly large. Speciality glass is more costly but really worth using if your artwork is susceptible to fading.
Repairing broken frames
If a picture has fallen from the wall and caused damage to the corner joints it is often necessary to have a new frame made. Come along to the workshop and we can look at the damage to see if it can be repaired.
